Rice Crispy Peanut Butter Bars

½ C honey or other liquid sweetener

½ C peanut butter,  natural preferred

½-   1/3 C nonfat dry milk   OR   ¼- 1/3 C nondairy milk powder

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 C crispy rice cereal


Heat honey in microwave-safe missing bowl for 1 to 1 ½ minutes or until bubbly.  Add peanut butter, milk powder, and vanilla. Stir in cereal until uniformly coated.  Press mixture into 8 o9 inch square pan until evenly distributed. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.  Cut into 16 squares. Store in airtight container at room temp for up to 3 days, or refrigerate up to 2 weeks,  or freeze up to 3 months.
