Vegan Jerky

1 – 8-ounce bag Butler Soy Curls

½ cup Braggs Liquid Amino

½ C water

½ Cup brown sugar—(can use date palm sugar—comes from coconut.)

2 Tbsp olive oil


For a chewier jerky….

In large skillet, bring to a boil the Braggs, water, brown sugar, and olive oil.  As soon as the brown sugar is dissolved, stir in the Butler Soy Curls, and continue stirring until all the moisture is absorbed.  Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Store in air tight baggies.


Less chewy version:

Place 1 bag of Soy Curls in a bowl and cover with water, soak for 10 minutes.

Drain excess water from Soy Curls

Then use the recipe above.


Add to stir-fry, rice, soups, tacos, fajitas, pizza, potatoes, sandwiches.
